Russian ice dancing coach Alexander Svinin has shared his thoughts on the frequent changes of coaches in the sport. According to him, some people use these changes as a way to justify their own mistakes and failures. "There are those who seek excuses for their errors and shortcomings by blaming the coach, their partner, or their partner's performance. Instead, they should focus on working calmly and trusting their team," Svinin stated.
Under the guidance of Svinin and Irina Zhuk, Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin trained and achieved notable success. Currently, the pair is coached by Alexander Zhulin. Stepanova and Bukin are considered strong contenders for the upcoming Olympic selection.
