In the Moscow Region, a recidivist thief decided to update her wardrobe by stealing clothes from a store in Shchelkovo. The woman selected several outfits and headed to the fitting room. She emerged from there empty-handed but visibly plumper. She had scattered the items under her coat, trying to evade the surveillance cameras. Nevertheless, the theft did not go unnoticed by the security guards, who pressed the alarm button.
The thief managed to pass the cashiers with the stolen items, but at the exit, the Russian National Guard officers were waiting for her. The perpetrator was taken to the police station, where her identity was established. It turned out that the 48-year-old local resident had a previous conviction for robbery. She may now face another prison sentence.
