In the new towel collection by Telo, two series named "Blue Russian" and "Soviet Sport" showcase the artistic work of Daria Vasilykova, the creator of Reda tile and designer furniture brand. The "Blue Russian" series presents an original print that combines philosophical and religious symbols with elements of popular culture, painted in gouache. One towel, in a seemingly unremarkable shade of blue, depicts a smiling kitten surrounded by flowers, while the other features a heart and a brain connected in the middle.
The "Soviet Sport" series is an ironic collection inspired by Soviet propaganda posters, with athletes portrayed as animal heads and vice versa. For instance, one of the towels showcases a fish with human legs. These unique towel designs aim to transform spaces and interiors. "There are no boundaries when it comes to our homes; we are free to do whatever we want," said Daria Vasilykova, the founder of Reda tile and designer furniture brand.
Telo, founded in 2023 by Olga Malybaeva, collaborates with artists to create limited edition towel series. The brand provides products that serve both practical purposes and decorative elements. The towels are made from high-quality cotton without any bamboo additives, using a special yarn twisting technique called double twisting.
